Deposits, Cancellation and Curtailment:

A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person is required to confirm weekly bookings / £20 for one night bookings.  Bookings made by telephone, fax or email require a deposit within one week of the booking in order to secure the reservation. Please make your cheque payable to "The Bourneville Hotel" and allow two weeks clearance.   Full settlement of the account will be expected on arrival.  Please note that we will not accept cheques exceeding the limit of the cheque guarantee card. We accept most major credit/debit cards.

Cancellation charges equivalent to two-thirds of the cost of the booking will become due should a guest cancel or curtail a booking and the hotel is unable to re-let the accommodation. Failure to give notice of your cancellation within 24 hours prior to the expected date of arrival could cost you the full amount if the accommodation cannot be re-let.  Holiday insurance cover is highly recommended.

Family Rooms:

We have a number of family rooms that sleep from 3 to 6 people.  We also have one family suite accommodating two children in bunk beds in a separate adjoining room to the parents, allowing the parents some privacy.   Children between the ages of 2 & 12 are charged at £15.00 when sharing a room with two full paying adults.  Babies & children under the age of 2 are charged at £5 per night (we can supply a travel cot for your convenience - please advise if this is a requirement when making your booking). Parents will be held responsible for their children’s behaviour.  Children are expected to be well behaved and respectful of the accommodation and of the other hotel guests at all times for the safety and enjoyment of all concerned.

 Parking:

We are situated along the esplanade and like most of the other hotels along here we do not have a private car park.  Fortunately though, we do have a limited number of parking permits for the sole use of our guests which we do not charge for, but do ask for a refundable deposit of £10 cash.  These are normally issued to guests staying longer than one night.  If you require a parking permit please state this in your booking enquiry.  The permit must be returned on the morning of departure and the deposit will be refunded.

Keys:

A refundable deposit of £10 cash is requested on arrival per key.  These are licensed keys as we have special security locks on the entrance doors for the security of our guests and their valuables.  The key must be returned on the morning of departure and the deposit will be refunded.

 Arrival & Departure times:

Bookings are from 2pm on arrival day until 10am on departure day.  Please advise us of your expected time of arrival so that we can be here to welcome you.  If you are likely to be later than 7pm, please let us know as you risk your reservation being re-let.

Breakfast time:

Breakfast is served between 8.15am and 9.00am in our dining room.

Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted in the hotel at anytime.
