have often been asked if we have a bar and many comments have been received
for the provision of this. Well the last thing we would want to do is
to disappoint any of our guests, so guess what.....we have now introduced
one! It just goes to show that we do listen to you and that we will do
our best to meet your needs as much as we can.
You now have the opportunity to enjoy a
pre-dinner drink before departing to experience some of the fine local
cuisine at some of the many excellent restaurants nearby, one of which is
next door!
The bar will be open at the owner’s
discretion when there is sufficient demand particularly during
winter. However, coffee and tea are available through out the day. Plus
in the main season afternoon tea can often be purchased.

may already have seen us on television! In support of the 2012
Bid for the Olympics, both Catherine & Nick were featured on
BBC1 South Today multiple times leading up to the result day and
also on BBC1 News at Ten when the results were announced. As a new
business, Catherine was interviewed regarding her thoughts on how
the Olympics could bring new energy and investment to the area. The
BBC has since continued these interviews and may well follow on as
the Olympics draw nearer. The Bourneville is exceptionally well
